Our daily routines and lifestyles have been greatly impacted with the outbreak of Covid-19. The need to adapt and go digital have never been more emphasized. For this all-English virtual event, we invite the founder of Asia Tech Podcast, Michael Waitze along with the founders of Riskwolf to discuss the trends and impact of Covid-19 within the Asia Region.

<About Michael Waitze>

Michael Waitze worked in Global Finance for more than 20 years, employed by firms like Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, primarily in Tokyo. Michael has always maintained a particular focus on how technology could be used successfully to make those businesses more efficient and to drive P/L growth.

After more than 20 years in Tokyo, Michael moved to Southeast Asia to get more involved in the Venture Capital business and also invest his own capital. Michael is skilled at connecting people and capital to innovate ideas and has advised multiple Start Ups on multiple platforms. Michael was an advisor to Thailand’s Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA) and a member of the Board of Directors of SBI Thailand Online.

Riskwolf CTO and co-Founder

René has 8 years of experience in large-scale data processing projects,with the last 5 years in the re-insurance industry. He bridges the gap between technology, data and processes. His working experience is in Vienna, Zurich, Frankfurt and Bratislava. René has previously founded two other companies.
