分断の時代におけるイノベーションのあり方ーーこれからのベンチャーキャピタルが支える日本の産業基盤

2026年は米国のベネズエラ介入というニュースから始まり、「ドンロー主義」という言葉に表れるような分断の時代を感じさせる幕開けとなりました。高市政権も成長戦略の肝として「危機管理投資」を掲げており、国家の安全保障が成長投資の大きなテーマになっています。

米国においては2022年にVCのAndreessen HorowitzがAmerican Dynamismという投資テーマを掲げ、国家の存立に関わる重要な課題をスタートアップの力で解決しようとする動きが強まっています。ソフトウェアが中心だったスタートアップ投資は、その重心をハードウェアやDeep Techに移していくのでしょうか？その中で、日本のイノベーション・エコシステムにはどのような変化が求められるのでしょうか？

今回のFireside Chatでは、日本を起点にグローバルに活動するキャピタリスト4名をお迎えして、これからのスタートアップ投資のあり方を議論していきます。

The year 2026 began with news of U.S. intervention in Venezuela, signaling the dawn of an era defined by global fragmentation—a sentiment captured by the resurgence of “Neo-Monroeism.” In Japan, the Takaichi administration has positioned “Crisis Management Investment” as a cornerstone of its growth strategy, making national security a primary theme for growth-oriented investment.

In the United States, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) pioneered the “American Dynamism” investment theme in 2022, catalyzing a movement to solve critical national challenges through startup-led innovation. As the center of gravity for venture capital shifts from software-centric models toward Hardware and Deep Tech, what transformations are required for Japan’s innovation ecosystem?

In this session, we welcome four prominent capitalists operating globally from Japan to discuss the future of startup investment and its role in a changing world.
